About this review
What this is. We are building data for expressive speech: short scripts that are read aloud with an emotion and can contain non-verbal sounds such as laughing, sighing or whispering, written as tags like [LAUGH] or <WHISPER>…</WHISPER>. A set of rules decides which sounds may go with which emotion, which emotion labels are used, which spelled-out sounds are replaced by tags, and which hesitation and listener words are used. Four AI models drafted these rules for , and everything that is the same across languages has already been decided centrally. What is left here needs a native speaker: points where the models disagreed, or where may behave differently from other languages.
Your role. As the lead, your answers become the rules for . Please decide from your own feeling for natural, everyday , not from what the models say.
How to work through it
- Go through the four tabs. Each tab starts with what the task is and a How to decide guide for its answer options.
- Each card is one question. HIGH items need a decision most; MEDIUM items are worth a careful check.
- Model A–D are the four AI models. Their example sentences and reasons are there to help, but they can be wrong, and the vote count is not a hint about the right answer.
- If the answer depends on context, choose Unsure where it is offered, and add a short comment. Comments are optional but very useful to us.
- Every click is saved immediately. You can close the page and come back any time; your progress is kept. Next unanswered takes you to where you left off.
